Geolocation notifications

The geolocation push notification functionality of Omniwallet allows you to send automatic messages to your users when they are near strategic physical locations. Ideal for stores, events, pickup points, or any place where you want to generate in-person interaction.
How does it work?
When a user with the active digital card passes through an area with a registered location, less than 100 meters away, Omniwallet automatically sends a push notification to their mobile.
This allows you to:
- Attract physical traffic to points of sale.
- Reinforce local or temporary campaigns.
- Increase the visibility of promotions near the user.
How is it configured?
1. Access the Push section from the side menu.
2. Click on the Locations tab (next to “Add points” and “Redeem points”).
3. Add a new location
Use the interactive map or search for a specific address in the search bar to mark the exact geographical point.
To the right of the map, fill in the following fields:
- Latitude: geographical coordinate of the point.
- Longitude: geographical coordinate of the point.
- Notification text: message that users passing nearby will receive.
💬 Example message:
Hello! You are very close to our store. Show this message and get a surprise gift 🎁.
Click on Add location to save the location.
Edit or delete locations
In the lower table you can:
- See all active locations.
- Check the configured message for each one.
- Edit the texts or coordinates by clicking on the pencil icon.

Best practices
- Use short and engaging messages that encourage immediate action.
- Do not duplicate locations that are too close to avoid overwhelming the user.
- Combine this feature with seasonal campaigns, pop-ups, or flash promotions.
