Complete guide: how to integrate Omniwallet with Oct8ne and WhatsApp

Prerequisites

Before you start, make sure you have:

• Active account in Omniwallet

• Active account in Oct8ne

• Active account in 360dialog

• A WhatsApp Business account connected to 360dialog

Without these accounts, it is not possible to send loyalty information via WhatsApp.

Step 1. Set up Oct8ne in Omniwallet

1. Access the Omniwallet admin panel.

2. Go to:
   Integrations → Others → Oct8ne

3. Fill in the fields with your Oct8ne account information:

   • Account ID

   • Provider

   • Token

   • Sender number

4. Save the changes.
   
   
   

Step 2. Create the WhatsApp template in 360dialog

2.1 Access 360dialog

1. Log into your 360dialog account.

2. Click on “Manage WhatsApp Business Account”.
   
   

2.2 Create a template

1. Access Templates.

2. Click on “Add Template”.

3. Configure the template, for example:

Basic configuration

• Name: send_loyalty_card

• Category: Marketing

• Allow Category Change: Yes

• Template type: Media & Interactive

• Language: Spanish (es)

Message blocks

• Header – Image: header image.

• Body: message text with dynamic variables.

• Buttons – URL:

  • Button for Apple Wallet

  • Button for Google Wallet
    
    

It is mandatory to include two buttons, one for each wallet.

4. Click on Preview and Submit.

Step 3. Wait for template approval

• Approval is usually automatic.

• It typically takes between 1 and 2 minutes, although in some cases it may take longer.

Step 4. Configure the template in Omniwallet

1. Access the Omniwallet admin panel.

2. Go to Marketing → WhatsApp.

3. Enable Welcome Message / Card Sending.
   
   

4. Click on Configure.
   
   

Step 5. Link the created template

1. Select the template created in 360dialog (send_loyalty_card).
   
   

2. Complete the parameters:

• Header: URL of the header image.

• Body: dynamic variables (name, points, etc.).

• Buttons:

  • Apple Wallet download URL

  • Google Wallet download URL

Save the configuration.

Final result

From this moment on:

• Customers can register for the program via WhatsApp.

• They receive their digital loyalty card automatically.

• They can check their accumulated points via chat.

• Everything is recorded and managed from Omniwallet.
